REVIEW: Schwarzkopf's Gliss Hair Repair (Deep Repair 19)

Where to find it: Sasa, Carrefour (I'm not sure about Carrefour. Read it from Cozycot forum.)

Price: $12.90/ $10.30 (Sasa's 20% GSS Promo. Psst! Tomorrow's the last day!)

What is it: Hair treatment

The Good: OMG. Say hello to those commercial hair!!! It makes my hair super soft and smooth. Completely tangle-free and it reduces my hair breakage drastically (Before this, I was dropping lots of hair!!! I contemplated going to the doctor because it's so darn worrying! I mean, I just entered adulthood and I'm losing hair?!? But anyway, WOHOO! Now I don't have to! *dances*) Oh, oh! Smells HEAVENLY too!

The Bad: The name!!! I can't prononunce it to save my life! Haha. Nah, I haven't got any problems with it but some people find it too waxy.

Comments: My L'Oreal Professional Series Expert Absolut Repair was finishing (It has already finished. ): But fear not! Schwarzkopf to the rescue!!!) so I was on the lookout for a new hair treatment. Before I go into the review, let me give you a brief background of my hair in the last year. As my hair was the wiry sort and as fussy ol' me wanted to keep long hair, I rebonded my hair once every 4-5 months since June/ July 2008. Yes, you can imagine how fried my dumb hair was. Also, I dyed my hair twice recently. Remember in a recent haul post I got Liese's Bubble Hair Color in Chestnut Brown? Okay, super duper long story but the gist is that *takes a deep Breath* I excitedly went into the loo after I got it, spent a good hour in there, emerged excitedly from the toilet only to find out that ONLY MY CROWN was dyed brown!!! Can you picture it?!? Top brown, bottom black (Or dark brown. I dyed it last year with Revlon's Dark Brown.)! *suffers from a cardiac arrest* Anyway, I got Revlon's Soft Black the next day and yay! Now I have normal-looking hair!!! But imagine just how dry my hair was after that. *shudders*

I was browsing Cozycot forums and someone (prettyeagle, I think.) mentioned about this hair treatment. She said that it could be found at Carrefour. But I wasn't going to Suntect just to get it (Nuh-uh, don't like Suntec. Plaza Singapura too. Okay, totally irrelevant.). So anyway, I was running all over Tampines with my ugly dual-toned hair trying to find Beauteen's Asian Black (Does anyone know if they still stock up on this shade?!? I couldn't find it anywhere!!! Yes, my original hair colour's jet black. Courtesy of Dad. But you know, black-haired people wants brown hair. Brown-haired people wants black, a.k.a. my sister. Straight-haired people wants curls and curly-haired people wants straight yada yada yada. And oh! Guardian's Liese is 2 bucks cheaper than that of Watsons'.) when I spotted this at Sasa. I think it's slightly more expensive than the Carrefour's one but if you count travelling expenses, it's more or less the same. I got it because it was cheap, compared with the L'Oreal's one (But okay, this is much smaller.), there was a 20% discount (I know, so auntie right?!?).

After dying my hair a 2nd time, I took a huge gunk of this, layered it all over my hair and prayed desperately to God that it would work. And wohoo!!! It did (Thanks Dad in Heaven!!!)!!! My hair felt incredibly soft! After I washed off the dye, I barely run my fingers through my hair, even though I was running water through it (Hmmm... Do you get me?) because it was so darn tangled. But after this, you bet I could!!! I was way over the moon!

Then, I was afraid that it would turn dry the moment I blew dry my hair. But it didn't!!! And then I realized that I only dropped 2 strands of hair!!! Before this, I was dropping a hell lot. Gran used to say that you'll drop tons of hair if you eat salty stuff. But I don't. I think. Except for the occasional cup noodles. So I reckon it's the way I treat my hair. As I am ALWAYS late and thus, in a frenzy, I just towel-dry my hair super rougly, blow it dry and then, get the fork and tug and tug at all the tangles. I still do the same thing now (I know. I WILL change! Pinky promise... To whoever who wants to pinky promise me! Haha.) but the thing is that my hair's so smooth that there are hardly any tangles. And even if that wasn't the root of the problem, hair breakage has seriously been reduced for me!!!

You know the Facebook's 'Like' button?!? I will click that a gazillion times for this product!!! Hehe. Go get it!!! Seriously!!! (I got 2 more tubs for myself and one more for my sister. (: )

Tip: After shampooing and conditioning your hair, rinse it was warm water. Apply the hair treatment and leave it in for 5 minutes. Rinse it off with COLD water.

Okay, another crazy long-winded review. Heh. I hope this review and product really help you! If you have any questions, just leave a comment. (:

REVIEW: Revlon's ColorBurst Lipsticks (Soft Nude and Peach)

Where to find: Watsons

Price: $21.90/ $17.52

What are they: Lipsticks!

The Good: The lipsticks are weightless and very pigmented. Brilliant range of colours!

The Bad: They aren't very moisturizing.

Comments: I was looking for a peach lipstick, after seeing it on Felicia Chin in an advertisement (I'm still looking for it! It's a pale peach. Do you know of any brand?!?). I'm not a big fan of lipsticks because to me, lipsticks = working adults. :\ Usually, I wear just lipbalm alone, sometimes over lipstains. Anyway, I decided to check out Revlon's new range, ColorBurst. 2 colours caught my eyes instantly, since I already knew which colour I was looking for. They were Soft Nude and Peach.

I got Peach first. But it wasn't exactly the peach that I was looking for. It was far too dark so I got Soft
Nude to lighten it up. (: (It's still not the peach that I'm looking for though. ): )

NYX's Circe, Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick's Soft Nude and Peach

NYX's Circe was the only other nude lipstick that I have got, so I decided to swatch Circe and Soft Nude side-by-side so that I could compare them. NYX's Circe really makes me look sick, dead (When I wear Circe, I usually go over it with gloss.) but Soft Nude doesn't. (: The latter's a very light pinkish peach. Peach, on the other hand, is very peachy. Haha. It looks rather orange-y (No, not the bright kind. The darker kind.) on my lips. I like layering one on top of the other!

The lipsticks are also very light. My first encounter with lipstick was when I was 6. There was the graduation ceremony and I was involved in a dance item. I had on a bright red lipstick and gawd. It was so heavy and uncomfortable that I kept my mouth shut the entire time. During secondary school, I had dance performances too, and each time, I couldn't wait to wipe the lipsticks off! But these are really different. As aforementioned, I'm not much of a lipstick person. I think the last lipstick that I had was when I was 17. It was a nude colour from The Body Shop but I threw it out because it was so heavy on my lips. Ugh!!! But yes, the feeling that these lipsticks gives is like that of lipbalms'! Yay!!! So even though I am supposedly looking for peach, I want to try Blush and Mauve!!! But okay, maybe at the end of the year?!? I need to SAVE UP!!!

And so do you. Haha. XD

REVIEW: Majolica Majorca's Lash Bone and Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On

Where to find: Watsons

Price: $21+

What are they: A mascara primer and a mascara respectively.

The Good: The primer does its job, in lengthening our short Asian eyelashes. The mascara does give great volume.

The Bad: The primer contains white fibers and it's rather difficult (For impatient me.) trying to ensure that every single fiber is well-coated. The mascara clumps my lashes like there's no tomorrow. Both are a pain in the ass when it comes to removing!

Comments: I bought Majolica Majorca's Lash Bone and Lash Enamel Glamour Volume on earlier this year (They were mentioned in the very first entry of this blog!). I can't remember the prices but they are around 20 bucks plus each.

The Lash Bone is a primer. It contains white fibers to increase the length of our eyelashes. Majolica Majorca has since come up with one that has black fibers. I tried it during the Majolica Majorca's Chapter 26 Workshop (Facebook Invite.). Though the fiber are black, the substance or glue or whatever the liquid that the black fibers are swimming in is called comes out as grey on the lashes. Lotus Palace has some fab pictures of the primer (She did a review on it and the Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On too.).

The Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On is a lengthening and volumizing mascara. It is actually an updated version of the old Lash Enamel Glamour Neo, which many people like and which I didn't have a chance to try before it got replaced. ): The mascara wand is a double-sided comb, which allows you to choose the thickness of your lashes. The wide-toothed one gives thicker lashes than the fine-toothed side. The tip of the wand is to be swept sideways against your lower lashes.

My lashes kinda look fabulous in the picture above (HAHA! They look really crummy in reality. :\) but ummm... I hate both of them! As mentioned above, the primer's fibers are white and because I'm the world's most impatient girl on earth and am always finding myself in the need to hurry, ensuring that every fiber is coated with mascara is really annoying. Like seriously. UGH. And the mascara... DOUBLE UGHS. It clumps like there's no tomorrow! As the mascara contains fibers too, you get small tiny pieces of them sticking out at odd angles!!! I like my lashes CLEAN so this is a definite OUT for me. Ughhh.

Also (Oh gosh. My complaints are never-ending!), they are hell to remove!!! So far, Neutrogena's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover (Recommended to me by Sara.) is the only one that can remove them COMPLETELY. And it takes a while. Big uh-uh for me.

That said, I know there are some people who love this mascara. I guess it requires practice (And I mean, a hell lot of it!) but ugh, I don't have the time for that and besides my Bourjois' Liner Effect Mascara works just fine! As for the primer, I have no use of it as well because my Bourjois one does an awesome job in lengthening (And separating!!!) my lashes.

UPDATES: *sniffs*

Oh gosh. I found out through Sophia's website that icefrost's holding sprees for Barry M Cosmetics and NARS Cosmetics (Sprees close at 11pm! Hurry over now!) so I spent my Sunday and the better part of today looking at swatches. After much 'researching', I decided on

Barry M Cosmetics
Blusher (Strawberry)
Lip Paint (Peachy Pink)

NARS Cosmetics
Cream Blush (Cactus Flower)
Cream Blush (Penny Lane).

So after my Aerobics class, I excitedly hurried over to the ATM (No iBanking for me lest I go bankrupt.) and then... I WALKED AWAY and bought a cup of bubble tea (Peach-flavoured... Just because suddenly, I'm into peach colours. Does anyone know of any pinkish-peach lipstick? There's a recent Chinese magazine that featured Felicia Chin. She was all dressed up like a student and she had the prettiest coloured lips ever!) to drown my sorrows.

It's a good thing, I suppose (Okay, I don't need to 'I suppose.' but but... BIG SIGH.). UGH, SENSIBILITY, GO AWAY!!!

Haha. Okay, I sound like such a sad, sad person. I'm bogged down by material stuff like this!!! The cotton candy filled head that I have! But better this than well, thinking myself to death over frivolous issues (OKAY, like THIS isn't frivolous?!? LOL. I can hear you protest "No! Makeup's a girl's life!!! It's NOTHING trivial!". Hehe.).

Oh well. There's always a next spree. *starts counting down to 11pm when the spree closes* HAHA! XD
-

On a... Should I say "Much happier note."?!? Well, I wasn't very sad to begin with. I just wanted to whine and lament (and curse SENSIBILITY). *points above* (Is anyone out there who's like me?!? Or you just buy?!? Haha!). Okay, where was I?!?

Right.

On a much ummm... (insert adjective) note, I won June's L'Oreal Open Eyes Chrome Intensity Contest!!! EEK EEK EEK (This is how Betty and Veronica from Archie Comics will go when they get all hyped up over something! Haha! Does anyone here read Archie Comics?!?)!!! What we had to do was to tell June which quad (From the L'Oreal Open Eyes Chrome Intensity line.) was our favourite and how the colours reminded us of beautiful butterflies. And this was my entry...

Aquadisiac palette for me!
Butterflies are known for their resplendent colours. Their beauty also borders on mystery.
The rich, deep blues (Blue Jean and Deep Blue) in the Aquadisiac quad reminds me of their mystery. Beneath the blues, the shimmers and the accompanying bright Aquadisiac and Highlighter bring to mind their vibrancy and just how simple it is for the sighting of a single butterfly to brighten up my day.

Anyway, I won a L'Oreal Paris Hamper! *BIG SMILE* I'm not sure what I'm getting but I'll post up pictures when I get it. (:

Hmmm... Come to think of it, the only items that I have ever owned from L'Oreal were a makeup remover and an eyeliner, which was actually from Mum's stash. Their L'Oreal Open Eyes Chrome Intensity palettes are so very pretty though!!! I love Aquadisiac especially!!! I'm crazy tempted to get it. But I swore off eye shadows after getting Urban Decay's Deluxe Shadow Box. :\ (And come to think of it again, I swore off blushers, cheek/ lip stains, lip balms, lipsticks... And for non-makeup related items, earrings, necklaces, graphic t-shirts...)

And oh right. This winning-the-contest thing was supposed to be the main point of this entry! Haha. XD
Thanks June for holding the contest!!! (:
-
Okay. What a crazy long entry! I wonder if anyone manage to sit through the entire thing. No swatches, no review today. I just wanted to blog. (:

OOOOH!!! Check out Benefit's latest products!!!

PRETTY MUCH?!? I would have got them if I hadn't bought Benetint and High Beam... And if I didn't own a gazillion eyeliners, eye shadows and 3 spankin' brand new blushers (I'm very proud of them though!).

Okay, enough whinning from me.

Head on over to the Muse and DROOL!!! (:

SPOTTED: Oshimatsubaki Hair Care Series' Camellia Hair Care Oil

I'm not sure if you know of the brand Tsubaki. It's actually a line of hair products that is produced by Shiseido. Tsubaki is the Japanese name for the Camellia flower and is the key ingredient of Tsubaki. I used to have very wiry wavy hair (Thanks to Dad. Haha. No, I LOVE YOU DAD!!!) so it was always so incredibly huge. Dad used to say that I had a mane -_-||| (Hello Daddy. It's YOUR hair! And I still love you!!!). And it got worse when I tried to grow my hair out. So I got it rebonded a couple of times and of course, it got damaged. The ends were completely fried (But, hey! At least my hair was flat and not poofy!) and my hair was just disastrous.

But anyway, to cut the long story short, I found Tsubaki whilst surfing online and decided to get it. And GOSH!!! My hair became sooo incredibly soft after using it. No longer wiry!!! Nuh uh! *MEGAWATT SMILE* I used the red series initially but I think that hasbeen phased out. So the white one is currently sitting happily in my loo.

And oh wait! This isn't a review about Tsubaki! Lol!

After my aerobics class, I decided to pay Watsons darling a visit (I haven't visited her since the sale!). I was working around, toying with the idea of buying DIY hair dye when I spotted this:

This is 100% natural Camellia flower oil! I have never seen this brand (Oshimatsubaki) before but since its only ingredient is Camellia seed oil, I decided to get it (Instead of hair dye. Healthier choice, I must say!).

It comes in 40ml and 60ml and there's also the hair spray (Camellia Oil in Water), which contained many other ingredients (So that it comes out as a spray and not globs of oil?!?). I decided to get the 40ml one because it was the cheapest and also, because I wanted to see how it went first. And let me tell you, this 40ml bottle is gonna last me a crazy long time!

The oil is odourless and you only need a maximum of 3 drops (Short hair, 1. Medium hair, 2. Long hair, 3.). Take care not to put too much lest your hair gets greasy.

Instructions on the different usages of the oil are provided; 'Leave in function', 'Pre-style function', 'Damage hair repair function' and 'Scalp repair function'.

Starting from tonight onwards, I'll be applying this everyday to my hair and I'll see how it goes. (:

This can be found at Watsons. Prices are as follow:

Camellia Hair Care Oil 40ml: $18.90
Camellia Hair Care Oil 60ml: $26+
Camellia Hair Oil in Water 150ml: $21+

REVIEW: Sephora Collection's Tricks of the Trade Lip Peel

Where to find: Sephora

Price:

What it is: A lip mask.

Directions: Apply the lip peel all over your lips. Watch the telly for a good 5-10 minutes. The lip peel dries up. Rub it off. Remove any remnants with makeup remover. Do it once or twice a week.

The Good: You get oh-so-luscious lips!!! And it's really quite fun to rub the lip peel off!

The Bad: I can get the same effect with a soft toothbrush. And I heard that Benefit's Dr. Feelgood's Lipscription is better!

WANT: Urban Decay Book of Shadows III

Urban Decay Book of Shadows III

I spotted this last week!!! Isn't it gorgeous?!? I'm hoping that the eyeshadows won't be repeat because I have got 3 palettes from Urban Decay already! That's pretty much all of the colours that they have! *crosses fingers*

Anyway, word has it that the Face Case won't be coming to Singapore. ): Awww... I think that that would have been a hit! I mean, I would get it! Haha. It's slim, compact and the blush is apparently a dupe for NARS' Orgasm (There are sooo many dupes for Orgasm. Doesn't make Orgasm very special now, does it?!? Lol!). BUT the Smoke Out Kit will be heading to our shores and so will a certain palette, belonging to a holiday collection (Please let it be this one!!!) or something like that, some time late this year. This is what the muffin has heard and can't be confirmed but keep your eyes peeled for any UD's updates here! (:

REVIEW: Kao's Bioré Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover

Ahhh! I am sooo excited about this post (because I'm loving this remover sooo much!)! And I had to post the swatches of the Urban Decay products before I could do this. Okay, okay! Onto the review!

I have always been a fan of Japanese stuff; Dramas, actors/ actresses, language, manga, anime and of course, beauty products!!! I used Kao Bioré's facial foams before and I loveee the smell and feel of them (BUT I always go back to Cetaphil. That's a story for another day!). Anyway, sometime last year, I was looking around for makeup removers. Before this, I used Olive oil but it give me milli seeds around my eye area. And before before that, I used removers from Neutrogena, Simple and the Body Shop. And I didn't like any of them. At all. They either sting or required lots of tugging at my skin.

Anyway, I spotted Kao Bioré's Bioré Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover and I like its description so I got it and guess what?!? I'M LOVING IT TA DA DA DA DA!!!

I hope the picture's clear enough for you to read the words. Basically, you pour an appropriate amount and use it on your dry face. And now, the reason as to why I had to do the entries on UD's products' swatches first is because of this...

Swatches of Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Zero, Binge, Covet, Electric, Yeyo and Bourbon and Lipstick in Gash

With just a little of the remover on a cotton pad (I know we aren't supposed to use it with a cotton pad, but just for convenience's sake.)...

For those who have tried Urban Decay's Glide-On Eye Pencils, you know how difficult removing them can get! Urban Decay's Clean and Sober is completely useless against them. *shakes head* But the Kao Bioré's Bioré Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover removes them with so much ease! Also, this remover is incredibly gentle on my face and eyes. It doesn't sting at all and it doesn't leave a I-think-my-face-has-been-stripped-of-all-its-natural-oil kind of tight feeling! The scent is pleasant, not in the least bit overpowering. Also, a little goes a long way!

One downside is that this is useless when it comes to Majolica Majorca's mascaras. SIGH. Everything is useless when it comes to Majolica Majorca. However, recently, I read that Cleansing Express Cleansing Lotion does the trick so I may be getting that on my next trip to Watsons!

Kao Bioré's Bioré Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover can be found at Watsons. (:

REVIEW: Urban Decay's Lipstick (Gash)

Got this a few weeks back. Previously, I used lip stains (which are of a girlish, cheery red) or just went out with my naked lips. BUT after watching 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'True Blood' (LOL! Anyone who's a fan of these 2 shows?!?), I had been wanting to try a deep red lipstick. And because I am such a big Urban Decay fanatic, their lipsticks were, of course, the first that I checked out. Gash caught my eye instantly (along with Apocalypse, Buzzkill, Confession, Gravity, Vinyl, Voodoo, Wanted... HAHAHA.). I wasn't willing to invest in a full-sized one because I'm really not a lipstick girl. So when Jasmine had this on her sales post, I commented for it and got it for $5.50.

And I have no idea why I just told you that story. Lol. Okay, onto the swatch!!!

On Urban Decay's website, it is described as 'blood red'. But seriously, I do not see anything 'blood red' about it. To me, it's more of a berry colour. And even then, it's not exactly very deep. (Sorry UD!) Still, I'm liking it quite a bit because it's a different look for me! (: Also, the lipstick isn't very thick so my lips don't feel yucky! Yay! (:

OH! Here's a quick tip which I picked up during my (very short. Yes, I have called it quits.) stint. Notice that Sephora Singapore doesn't carry any of Urban Decay's blushes? What a pity, isn't it?!? Well, you can just use their lipsticks as a substitute! Swipe some of the lipstick on your finger (Try Sellout, Naked, Wanted or Lovechild!) and DAB it on your cheeks!!! (:

REVIEW: Urban Decay's Face Products

I have been an Urban Decay 'model' for a couple days now, as part of my job. So basically I have tried most of Urban Decay's products. I will be doing a quick review on them (In parts; Face, eyes etc.). Unfortunately, photos will not be accompanied as I only got a chance to try them. I do own some of the products, so please do let me know if you want photos. (: Here goes...

All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
I got to try this today! After spraying 2 big 'X's across my already made-up face, my skin felt incredibly smooth and moisturized. Initially, I thought that it would mess up my makeup but it didn't and there was no yucky feeling at all. Instead, it was re-re-refreshing!!! I didn't get a chance to test the 16 hours claim, but after 3 hours, my face was just like when my makeup was first applied. Unfortunately, I had to wash off my makeup after that. I'm eager to try the others and will probably end up buying one of them!

24/7 Concealer
This is very creamy and goes on very smoothly on the skin. Quite like the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. Coverage is very good. I won't buy this, however, because the Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup is enough for me! (:

Baked Bronzer
I prefer Too Faced's Pink Leopard and Snow Bunny. This goes on too dark for my liking. And I think the cupcake packaging (No matter how much I LOVE cupcakes.) is a friggin' huge wastage.

Clean and Sober (OWNED)
I HATE THIS. I hate the smell. I hate that it stings my eyes and most importantly, I hate the fact that it doesn't remove makeup effectively. POO-I! (My skin does feel soft after usage though. BUT this isn't reason enough to make me want to ever repurchase this.)

Complexion Primer Potion - Brightening/ Pore Perfecting
The brightening is a tad shimmery (to give the brightening effect) and is more suitable for normal to dry skin. Pore perfecting, on the other hand, is for oily skin. It goes onto the skin matte. I tried both. I had the Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation applied to my face after that. I'm not sure of it's because the primers are lousy or because the foundation sucks so badly but my skin is evidently oily after an hour. The foundation cakes too and I'm not sure if it's because of the primers. But I have seen customers who applied the Pore Perfecting Primer Potion over their makeup and those spots become matte very quickly. Either way, I won't buy this because I rarely wear foundation and have the De-Slick Mattifying Powder to save me from oil drown-age.

De-Slick Mattifying Powder (OWNED)
I have this since last year and it smells lovely (One wonders WHY this smells so good, whereas Clean and Sober stinks when BOTH are supposed to be lavender-flavoured.). The powder does not leave my face white. You don't have to powder much. A little goes on a long way. A dab here and there and my face becomes prettily matte. The puff provided is a flimsy one though and there's no replacements for that. Anyway, I hardly use this because I'm far too lazy. Half the time, I just grab a tissue and dab away any oiliness. So this poor little thing is sitting on my shelf, all sad and lonely.

De-Slick in a Tube
It comes out gel-like and it makes the face matte instantly. A colleague of mine had some trouble using it. Remember to DAB this on your skin and not rub it in because, then you get eraser dust-like stuff. This can be used under and over makeup. I, however, prefer the powder form. Gel over makeup, even if you're dabbing it on, just seems strange. The spray sounds better too.

Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Finishing Powder (OWNED)
I LOVE THIS! This is supposed to have some optic-blurring effect and yes, it does give my face a very soft look. Also, there is supposed to have some 'water bubbles bursting on the surface' feeling. I don't literally feel it but it is re-re-refreshing!!! I will definitely get this again!

Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation (OWNED)
DISLIKE. HATE. DETEST. All words of dislike, all range are reserved for this products. I hate how it goes on to my face and boy, does it cake!!! EEE YUCKS! My face goes all oily after a while too! I won't recommend this to ANYONE!

Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup (OWNED)
Words of love for this. Haha. I have this in Illusion and it matches my colour perfectly. It doesn't oxidise into an orange hue like Rimmel London's and I do believe that it actually helps treat the skin. Usually, late nights and fatigue mess up my face. (I tried Bare Minerals once and gawd, I broke out in little, tiny zits all over my forehead and cheek. Ughhh. I know of one other person who broke out and you can go check out reviews too. That said, Bare Minerals has worked well for many others. One good thing is that the brand has MANY shades so you will definitely have one that matches your colour perfectly! Do get a sample first and test it out before making the jump to purchase the full-sized thing!). I have been managing 4-5 hours of sleep on weekdays but my skin's still looking good. Of course, I slather on lots of Eucerine's Purifyer Cream-Gel but I do believe the foundation has a part to play too!

Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20
This tinted moisturizer goes on very light. Perfect for those who only need a light coverage and find it too troublesome for the whole moisturizer-sunscreen-THEN-foundation business (I think the SPF is low though, for Singapore.). Quite a lot was applied on my face but I don't have that my-skin-can't-breathe feeling on my face. It felt very good actually, even on my T-zone area. I didn't have my makeup longer than 3 hours so I can't attest to its staying power. Nevertheless, this seems a good buy!

Urban Decay at Sephora ION will be having makeup demonstrations tomorrow afternoon! Do go down to take a look, especially the Summer Love Nail Kit is absolutely gorgeous! The palette's so-so if you have the Ammo one. Seriously, if you want a good basic palette from Urban Decay, just get the Ammo one (I have seen all the palettes that are available in Singapore so many times that I'm crazy familiar with them.)!

Anyway, I do have a haul post coming up soon. And yes, you guess it! They are ALL Urban Decay products. Hahaha.

Till the next entry, happy shopping! (:

Wohoo!!! Urban Decay's Summer Collection 2010 hit our shores yesterday afternoon! They are displayed at the top of Urban Decay's gondola in Sephora ION. I'm happy about this because this means that Urban Decay's collection is expanding in Singapore. But I don't think I will be getting anything from the above, save for the nail polishes as a birthday present for my sister.
Besides, I just got myself the Deluxe Eyeshadow Box and Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss in James! I'll be getting Timothy tomorrow! (:
