GOODIES: Fancl's Nano Hyaluronic Acid Supplements

On the first of March, I received a Fancl bag from the BrandStory babes! It came with their signature deep red ribbon and a personalized card. Thank you, Rachel! :DDD



Inside the bag was a packet of Fancl's Nano Hyaluronic Acid. This is Fancl's latest step in taking hydration from within to the next level!

Translating the axiom 'You are what you eat.' into a beauty pill with the help of technology, this helps to 'strengthen the skin barrier function to prevent loss of moisture and improve moisture retention'.



The 3 main ingredients which are going to provide a reservoir of moisture to your skin are Nano Hyaluronic Acid, N-acetylglucosamine and Ceramide. Each was scientifically so that your body absorbs them easily!



Nano Hyaluronic Acid (50mg): Improves moisture retention.

N-acetylglucosamine (10mg): Promotes the production of Hyaluronic Acid in the body when consumed, thus improving moisture retention and skin cell barrier functions.

Ceramide (600μg): Strengthens skin cell barrier functions.



This is the second time that I'm taking beauty supplements, after an incredibly long haitus. I'm always a little wary of them because it works internally, rather than externally. But Fancl is such an established brand so I was pretty eager to try this out! :DDD

If you're interested to have a go at beauty supplements, the very first thing you need to do is to check the ingredients and make sure you are not allergic to any of them! This is not suitable for those allergic to seafood as N-acetylglucosamine is derived from seafood extracts.

I think that though effects from beauty supplements will be gradual and take a pretty long time to be visible, they will, however, stay for a longer time as compared with topical products because they treat from within. (:
