REVIEW: Enavose's FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water

Two Fridays ago, I received the most exquisite package ever from Enavose! Even before I opened the brown package, I got a whiff of a pleasant floral scent. And I do love how flowers smell! Mmhmm...

Enavose made a trip from Switzerland to Singapore last year and took up residences in Suntec City and Vivocity's Tangs Beauty Hall. This premium Swiss brand promises integrity, whilst being natural and eco-friendly. It uses unique and high-performing actives and contains no parabens, no SLES (Sodium lauryl ether sulfate.), no mineral oils and no allergenic fragrances. And there is absolutely no testing done on animals.

Enavose's philosophy is to create skincare that is void of harmful chemicals. Up to 70% of what we apply on our skin is absorbed into our blood stream and so, Enavose turns to natural ingredients where preservatives are concerned. Instead of using parabens, anti-microbial spices like Wasabi, Radish and Ginger are used to ensure that products are kept fresh and natural!

Dad used to make frequent trips to Switzerland and he would always bring back Swiss-made lip balms for us. For a man who doesn't bother with skincare products of any sort, I sure believed him when he said that Swiss brands are tops!

As a result of what Dad said, I was and still am eager to learn more about Enavose! Let's open up the box!

TADAHHH! I uncovered a drawer of lovely, dried petals of the deepest red, wrapped up in a cream cloth! Exquisite much!!! I'm adding the rose petals to my cupcake stand of potpourri! So, so, very pretty!

To the side, laid a bottle of Enavose's FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water. The 120ml bottle houses a cleansing water that provides a removal of makeup and impurities that is quick (Within a minute!) and most importantly, gentle. And for the ladies who want things done with a few snaps of the fingers, you will be glad to know that no rinsing is required. (:

The FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water acts with the aid of the Micellar Technology. This technology rests on the powers of micelle, a type of molecule cluster. The micelle spheres split open upon application onto the skin, kidnap the impurities and close up... Much like a Venus Flytrap!

The cleansing water also contains Swiss Glacial Water. This water helps to purify and hydrate the skin. It is oil-free so you don't have any yucky, greasy feeling after using it. At the same time, it is so gentle that it doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils. There won't be any of that too-clean, too-tight feeling!

Mature ladies will like the fact that the cleansing water is packed with antioxidants to fight the evils of ageing. (: Aye, it will be good for me too! Where skincare is concerned, it is always good to start young.

The FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water comes in a white, plastic 120ml bottle. The cap pops out to reveal a nozzle which you can press to get the cleansing water out. There is no direct contact with the cleansing water so hygiene is well taken care of!

To use the FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water, all you have to do is wet a cotton pad and gentle swipe it across your face and neck. Use twice daily and no rinsing is needed!

Psst! Be careful not to let the cleansing water touch your eyes!

And now, for the test!

On my arm, from left to right, are

Bourjois' Healthy Mix Foundation,
K-Palette's 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner (Super Black),
K-Palette's 24H Real Lasting Eyepencil (Super Black),
Canmake's Powder Cheeks in PW18,
Shiseido's Perfect Rouge in RD 305 and
L'Oreal Paris' Glam Shine 6H in V5 Iredsistible.

Wet the cotton pad and swipe away!

As seen in the above photo, most of the makeup are removed. Only the liners remained. And this is what I experienced during my slightly-more-than-a-week of usage.

The FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water gets rid of face makeup easily with 2 cotton pads. However, where the liners and mascaras are concerned, it is rather difficult to remove them. This happens with most of my makeup removers though. My liners and mascaras are THAT resistant! Haha. But anyway, one thing that I do is to lightly lift my lashes with the cotton pad, rest it there for a while, before swiping it upwards.

And just like what Enavose says about the FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water, there isn't any too-tight, too-clean feeling after using it. My skin feels comfortable to be left alone till I cleanse my skin for my night skincare routine. (:

Right now, the FloraComfort Micellar Cleansing Water is retailing at a promotional price of $29 (Usual price is $45.).
